EARLY YEARS STATEMENT

Our Intent

• To provide a safe, inclusive, caring and nurturing learning environment.

• All children are able to fulfil their full potential.

• Develop their own interests, imagination and knowledge through play.

• Parents to fill involved in their learning journey and support their learning at home.

• Sessions and next steps planned in line with the current EYFS guidance.

• Staff members trained and knowledgeable in the EYFS and our curriculum to be able to develop and extend the children's learning appropriately.

Implementation

• Planning is based on the children's needs and interests and structured around the EYFS areas of learning to fulfil their goals.

• Provide an inviting and rich environment where the children have opportunities to explore and develop.

• Going on trips, exploring the world around them, inviting a variety of professionals into the setting and exploring other cultures.

• Provide a wide and varied range of toys and activities that cover our curriculum.

• We have a lovely outside area to enhance their physical development and to extend their love of exploring through play.

• Skilled staff making constant observation and recommending next steps for the children.
